      Pure volumes and essential geometries define Nolo, a collection of tables conceived as an exploration of the balance between matter and lightness. The concrete base, a solid mass rooted to the ground, interacts with a steel stem that replaces the conventional column with two slender parallel plates.
      Careful research into colours, aggregates, and tactile qualities has enhanced the finish and character of the concrete, enabling it to inhabit sophisticated settings without renouncing its authentic material presence, including the small variations and imperfections that are an expression of craftsmanship, making each piece unique. Designed for outdoor spaces — from Italian-style cafés to contract environments and private terraces — Nolo helps elevate the aesthetic quality of both urban and domestic spaces, integrating elegantly into a variety of different contexts.

      Simone Bonanni

      He's a product designer based in Milan. After graduating from the Istituto Europeo di Design and working for three years at Marcel Wanders Studio in Amsterdam, he returned to Italy in 2015 to found Simone Bonanni Studio (SBS). For Simone, the aesthetics of a product arise from a deep understanding of its role within society and through a conscious synthesis of function, context, and meaning. In his work, these factors continuously evolve and interact, shaping a relationship between object and user that is first affective and then physical. His design approach places strong emphasis on the communicative power of form and on the ability of objects to convey meaning. Over time, this perspective has evolved from a purely technical approach to a stronger focus on the emotions a product can evoke, giving priority to its symbolic and sensory dimensions.
